Moral panic happens when there is an extremely false presentation of a cultural phenomenon or a group of people by the media. And this happens in such way that it weakens the very moral fiber of the society. When it comes to police or police actions, the media generally takes up one negative case and fuels it up in such a manner to create a false perception about the whole police community.
